Engineering Foundation Year
The Engineering Foundation Year will introduce you to engineering design and problem solving, and ensure you are confident with the statistics, algebra and trigonometry needed for success at degree level.
Many people who undertake the foundation year are still thinking about which sub-discipline of engineering to specialise in. The course covers both mechanical and electrical engineering and lays the foundations of physics so you’ll be able to test your preferences and make an informed decision about which degree to study after the end of the year.
