Career Pathways
Upon completion of the Master of Learning Sciences and Technology, you will have gained the skills required to meet the needs of future e-learning professionals as well as those working in industry, government and education who are seeking to advance their careers. Graduates will also be equipped to pursue a research career in ICT-supported learning.

• Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
• Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
• Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
• The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

• Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
• Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
• Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
• PhD students can stay upto 4 years

Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on merit. Admission to candidature for this course requires:

a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, in Education, Computer Science and Technology, Information Technology, Arts (Informatics) or Psychology, or equivalent qualification AND either relevant postgraduate qualifications or one year's full time professional experience in a relevant field; or
a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification AND either relevant postgraduate studies or two year's full-time professional experience in a field relevant to the course content; or 
completion of the embedded Graduate Diploma in Learning Sciences and Technology of the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification.
In exceptional circumstances the Dean may admit applicants without these qualifications who, in the opinion of the faculty, have qualifications and evidence of experience and achievement sufficient to successfully undertake the award.

If you do not meet the requirements listed above for direct entry to the Master’s degree, you may be able to enter via a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in the same subject area and upgrade to the Master’s after successful completion of the shorter course.

TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing

IELTS score - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

TOEFL - PBT score -  A minimum result of 565 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English -  A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
