Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  • Australian Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant study area. Students are selected based on their performance in the final year of the pass degree course. Students must obtain a minimum average of 60 per cent across all of their third-year subjects and obtain at least 65 per cent in subjects related to the Honours discipline to the value of 60 credit points. Meeting this requirement, however, does not guarantee a place in the Honours year as resources may limit the total number of places available, and students are expected to find a supervisor prior to enrolment.

Honours in your major

  • You may be eligible to complete Honours in a major completed as part of your undergraduate degree. Your eligibility is subject to the availability and agreement of a suitable supervisor for the major and you meeting the entry requirements specific to that major.
