20 week Pre-Sessional English Language
The 20-week Pre-Sessional English language course provides an excellent learning opportunity for pre-university students holding offers from or applying to University of South Wales but who do not reach the language requirements for their desired course.
PLEASE NOTE: The first 10 weeks of this programme beginning in May will be taught online via distance learning as confirmed below. After the first 10 weeks, students will travel to the UK to complete the remainder of the programme on campus. Our Immigration and International Student Advice Team will offer advice on applying for a visa for the second part of the course. Due to the delivery method, the online version of the 20 week pre-sessional course takes longer to complete than the on campus version (it takes 25 weeks) but the course fee and the entry requirements are those of the standard 20 week pre-sessional programme.

Our Careers and Employability Service

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

- Foundation Years are available to students who don't meet the academic requirements for entry directly onto year 1 of a Bachelor's degree.
- Students who have a good level of English (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent) will be considered for our Faculty Foundation Years.
