Diploma of Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills, and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgment in planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organizational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyze, and synthesize information from a variety of sources.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
There are no stated entry requirements in the Training Package for entry into BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management. International students must be 18 years of age or above and provide evidence of the following published entry requirements as stated below: Academic Entry Requirements
- Year 11 or equivalent and above, and
English Language Entry Requirements:
- IELTS score 5.5 minimum (no lower than 5.0 in each band); or equivalent
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.
