Computer Science for Games BSc(Hons)
Our Computer Science for Games BSc(Hons), created and updated in collaboration with industry leaders, will prepare you for a career in the multibillion-pound games industry.
You’ll study three core elements of computer games: the engine that drives the dynamics of the game, the application interface and the design of the user experience.
Exploring topics from databases and programming to 3D graphics and animation, you’ll understand the software technologies that support the games development process. You’ll also gain skills in software development, data analysis and system modelling.
Project work, game jams and placements put learning into practice and let you show potential employers what you are capable of. And our annual games conference is another way to meet people working in the industry.

Moulsecoomb campus
Two miles north of Brighton city centre and the seafront, Moulsecoomb is the largest of our four campuses with more than 8,000 students. Moulsecoomb Place is home to more than 160 students, while others live in nearby Varley Park. There are a number of areas of Brighton that are popular with students, just a short walk, cycle or bus ride away. These include Moulsecoomb, Bevendean, Hollingbury, Elm Grove, Hanover and other suburbs that stretch up the hills on either side of the Lewes Road.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For India
- We require a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Standard XII with an overall average of 60–65% to include a minimum of five subjects at 40% or higher.
- Students with relevant diplomas and HNDs may be considered for advanced entry on a case-by-case basis, subject to admissions assessment.
