Business Law LLB(Hons)

Business law combines commercial law with real-world practices of business. Whether you are advising a client on setting up a company or dealing with a complex business contract, you will be equipped with a specialist understanding of both business law and the wider commercial world.

Organisations of all sizes need employees with a broad understanding of corporate and other law, as well as people with good corporate awareness, initiative and communication skills. This degree will give you the legal background you need to get ahead in business and by selecting from a list of designated option modules you will undertake a course with a focus on Business Law.

On the Business Law course we also give you the opportunity to take a placement year that could see you working in a business and gaining real world experience.

How will you learn?
To help you take the first steps on your legal career we aim to give you as much experience as possible. You will learn through practical application and delivered lectures, workshops, seminars and group work sessions.

Our strong alumni networks provide wide opportunities to engage with local legal practitioners working in regionally and internationally renowned firms.Our Law School Professional Mentoring scheme is a particular success which enables our students to bridge the gap between education and working in the legal sector.

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

BBB at A Level

120 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications

DDM in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

Pass Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 credits achieved from any units awarded at merit.

If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
