P.G.CERT CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

An effective construction manager understands how to successfully organise and plan complex construction projects, diagnose corporate problems, and manage project teams, procurement, finance and risk. Many graduates use this course to gain the skills and knowledge required to advance their careers and undertake senior management positions.

The development of this course has been led by industry to ensure that it covers current industry trends and emerging future skills areas in construction management.  This course offers a structured route to obtaining the knowledge and understanding required to practice construction management. Emphasis is on developing practical skills and tools for a rewarding career in construction.It provides hands-on training in the use of state-of-the-art software tools and techniques.

This full MSc degree is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Association for Project Management (APM).

You will:

  • Learn how to diagnose corporate problems and manage a multitude of areas including people, finance and risk

Job Opportunity Potential

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate degree

Applicants of this course must have a minimum of a second class honours degree.

Postgraduate

Holders of a three or four year bachelor's degree with an overall average of 55% from a recognised institution, or 50% plus any relevant work experience, or additional, relevant qualifications will be considered for postgraduate study.
