International Business with Project Management (Professional Practice) MSc

This course develops on a holistic approach to project management taking into consideration tools and techniques of project planning and control, and the relationship between human resource issues and project management.

You will have the opportunity to gain a critical understanding of the rapidly changing and dynamic international business environment, and the skills needed to analyse the strategies and operations of multinational enterprises. This programme will provide the opportunity for you to study a wide range of topics in international business, from both a theoretical and practical perspective. The course is designed to enable you to tailor it to your own personal and career interests, with a number of option modules available.

This 18-month route provides an additional 6-month professional practice placement opportunity at the end of the 12 month taught programme. This allows students with limited experience to put the skills and techniques developed throughout the Master’s degree into practice. This option would be of particular interest to international students.

PSW Opportunity

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry requirements for Professional Practice courses are normally:

An Honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent professional qualification, in Business Studies, Marketing, Management, Logistics, Accountancy or Economics.
Applicants with other appropriate professional qualifications and/or experience will be considered on an individual basis.
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 7.0 overall with no element lower than 6.5 (a minimum of TOEFL 550 (Computer Based Toefl 213) score) or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
