Bachelor of Business – Information Systems
The Bachelor of Business – Information Systems Major students will gain technical and analytical skills in choosing this discipline as well as the ability to assess, evaluate, and communicate the key aspects of Information Systems as an enabler of modern organisations. Students will also study key commerce courses such as accounting and management. Student will also participate in team projects, developing solutions to real-world problems based on real organisations in the business world.
As part of their specialisation study, CIM graduates of Bachelor of Business – Information Systems Major will meet the prerequisites for their eligibility to apply for the membership of professional bodies in their area such as ACS Foundation.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent with an ATAR of 65 or above
Satisfactory completion of an approved Tertiary Preparation Program, Tertiary Orientation Program, or a Foundation Year Program through an accredited institution of higher education offered at Australian Universities, TAFE Institutes or government approved Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
Completion of a Certificate IV or higher.
Admission to candidature for an undergraduate course at an Australian university which achieve equivalent point.
English Language Proficiency
A current (within two years of test date) International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall academic score of 6.0 or higher with no band lower than 5.5; or
Successful completion of an approved English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course;
(Other acceptable test scores in PTE, CAE and TOEFL as mentioned in Section b below)
If the admission applicant’s IELTS test result is older than two years, to prove their required English language competency, the admission applicant may sit for an English language test conducted by an Australian ELICOS provider.
Undertaken secondary or higher education (tertiary) studies in English
- a completed and recognised secondary education (high school) qualification, or
- a completed and recognised foundation/preparation program with the required grades in relevant English subjects or,
- a completed AQF diploma /advanced diploma (or equivalent) from a recognised institution, or
