Certificate In English Proficiency
The Certificate in English Proficiency programme is designed to provide a reasonable proficiency in English for younger students who take English as a second language (ESL) enabling them to progress to higher academic programmes.
There are 5 levels in the programme and each level develops the four language skills (Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading) progressively through coursework and exams.
The programme’s coursework is designed to improve the student’s language skills as well as build confidence in speaking and presenting in English to better prepare students in progressing to higher academic programmes

PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

English Language Requirement :
- IELTS score of 1.5 or equivalent; OR
- PSB Academy English Placement Test*
*The PSB Academy English Placement Test is to assess student’s level of English language proficiency to be placed into levels 1 to 5. Students are then placed in the appropriate level depending on their English placement test score. Level placement exemptions will be applied accordingly.
