PSW Opportunity

The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry via Year 1

GCE A Levels (Minimum 2 A-level passes with one from a Mathematics, Physics, or
equivalent subject) or equivalent qualifications; or
Mature candidates (30 years and above with 8 years working experience); or
Successful completion of PSB Academy:
• Certificate in Engineering and Information Technology
• Certificate in Engineering Foundation
• Certificate in Engineering Foundation (E-Learning)

Entry via Year 2

Polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualifications in relevant areas of engineering; or
PSB Academy Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, pathway in ElectroMechanical Engineering; or
Applicants holding other diploma-level qualifications will be assessed on a case by case basis

Minimum Age Requirement

18 years old

English Language Requirement :

English Language at GCE O-Level English Language, grade C or above; or
Successfully completed PSB Academy’s Certificate in English Proficiency Level 5; or
IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent; or
Applicants should either possess a diploma from a recognized institution where English is the sole medium of instruction.
