Television Production MA

This course aims to provide you with a range of creative, practical and critical skills to apply within and beyond the television industry.

The media landscape is ever evolving, with new platforms and streaming services requiring televisual content from niche programming to prime time shows. On MA Television Production, you will have the opportunity to originate and produce content aimed at TV audiences.

Students on this course learn about conventions and established techniques in television production but also about emerging trends and approaches.

There is a focus on ‘multi-skilling’, with students being introduced to creative, professional and technical techniques and practices from camera operation to interviewing and from editing to treatment writing.
