PGCert Business and Management

If you are a graduate in a subject other than business and management, this Postgraduate Certificate enables you to complement the subject skills from your first degree with the core business, management and leadership skills required by organisations in the 21st century. You will gain business environment analysis skills to support the development of strategic plans, enhance business decision making and deliver results in line with key objectives. There is also the opportunity to specialise in people management or business operational management. The programme will enable you to investigate key business and management theories and prepare you to lead innovative and future-thinking organisations. You will gain national and international business environment awareness, strategic analysis and development skills, project management and leadership skills, and the capacity for critical decision-making. Whether you wish to embark on a career as a business-aware manager in the subject area of your first degree, or choose an alternative vocation, you will graduate with an impressive transferable skillset and an enhanced management toolkit that will make you highly employable across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
