MA Product Design Making
Product Design is a rapidly changing discipline, elements of which are converging with craft-based practices to occupy new hybrid maker spaces and a growing redistributed manufacturing network. This programme develops your skills in a range of making methods, with both traditional tools and materials and digital prototyping technologies (including CNC routers, laser cutters and 3D printers).
Part of the MA/MFA Design Suite, the course benefits from bringing together designers from a range of disciplines into core modules, as well as modules specific to your chosen pathway such as 'Making as Thinking', 'Sketching & Prototyping in Hardware and Software' and ‘Design for Makerspaces’.
All students complete the Live Project and you will study 'Thinking: Research for Creative Practice', which will help you to determine your Research Portfolio (MA) or Major Project (MFA) topics.

- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
You will be eligible to apply if you have gained one of the following:
A bachelor general / pass (3 year) degree with 60% or above
A bachelor special / honours degree (3 year) with 55% or above
A bachelor degree (4 year) in a professional subject with 55% or above
For MBA (1 year) the requirements are:
A bachelor general / pass (3 year) degree with 60% or above
A bachelor special / honours degree (3 year) with 55% or above
A bachelor degree (4 year) in a professional subject with 55% or above
For MBA (Leadership Practice) (2 years) the requirements are:

Postgraduate
You should have 70% or higher in English in the Indian HSC Intermediate (10+2) (XII Standard) exam and have completed an undergraduate degree taught and examined in English within the past 2 years. If you graduated more than 2 years ago, we will consider your application on a case-by-case basis. Requirements may vary dependent on State.
