Finance with Banking MSc

Develop an in-depth knowledge of the financial system. Use your quantitative skills and graduate ready for a career in finance or banking.

This course is for graduates who have little or no business experience and want a finance or banking-related career.

Receive a solid theoretical foundation in finance and banking. You’ll learn to analyse financial decisions and the motivations of people making them, and how to apply this knowledge in the real world.

We bring in expertise from the University’s departments of Mathematical Sciences and Economics. This gives you access to a range of teaching and research experience.

You should have a bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent, typically a 2:1 or above.

To apply for this course you should have an undergraduate degree in a social sciences subject. We will also consider graduates with an undergraduate degree in other subjects where you have substantial relevant professional experience.

We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.

If your first language is not English but within the last 2 years you completed your degree in the UK you may be exempt from our English language requirements.
