Bachelor of Science in Psychology / Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Empower people to reach their mental health, wellness and career goals through counseling. In Husson’s Bridge program, you’ll earn two degrees in 6 – 7 years: a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Through this rigorous program, you’ll receive an experiential education with a strong academic foundation that will prepare you for national certification and state licensure as a clinical mental health counselor. Your courses will include individual and group counseling, theories, ethics clinical practice, as well as social and cultural competency.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Application Requirements

In addition to the admission requirements outlined in the application for admission, first-year international applicants must submit an official copy of a test that assesses English competency. Husson University accepts test results from the following agencies:

TOEFL iBT - minimum score of 75 (iBT) or 537 (paper-based test).
TOEFL Essentials- minimum score of 8.
IELTS- minimum score 6.
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic)- minimum score of 50.
DET (Duolingo English Test)- minimum score of 100.
