Arts at Monash is your comprehensive gateway to a wide range of fascinating and rewarding areas of study across the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Clayton campus has around 26,000 students and is the largest of all eight campuses. It is located 20km south-east of Melbourne.

Caulfield

Caulfield campus is Monash University's second largest campus, nine kilometres south-east of Melbourne.

PSW Opportunity

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

  • Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
  • Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
  • Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
  • The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

  • Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
  • Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
  • Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
  • PhD students can stay upto 4 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  • All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score.

- Overall average of the best four academic subjects (excluding Monash University approved non-academic subjects) and results indicated as ‘pass’ awarded on the official final 'Marks Statement' issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

- Overall average of the best four academic subjects (excluding Monash University approved non-academic subjects) and results indicated as ‘pass certificate awarded’ awarded on the official final 'Statement of Marks' issued by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

  • Total score of a maximum of the best 3 A Level subjects taken in one examination sitting*

  • The official final GCE A Level official statement issued by the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka must be submitted.
