Cuisine Intermediate Certificate
In the Spanish Cuisine Intermediate Certificate of Le Cordon Bleu Madrid the students will have the opportunity to apply the techniques learnt in the Basic level course on a gastronomic tour around the different regions of France. Daily work in the kitchens is the key to accomplish the tasks in a natural and instinctive way and allows the incorporation of complex techniques.
During the last stage of the certificate, the student takes a Traiteur course, based on catering, which focuses on the preparation of a main course and its garnish. During this exercise, students learn about organization and teamwork.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The necessary documents to apply for a course are the following:
- Signed 'Application form' and 'Admission, enrolment and method of payment policy'.
- ID or passport copy.
- Cover letter stating professional objectives and reasons for choosing Le Cordon Bleu Madrid (300-600 words).
- One photo (passport size).
- Written proof, of any course taken at Le Cordon Bleu;where applicable.
It is an essential prerequisite for students whose mother tongue is different from Spanish or English, to prove appropriate writing and speaking skills in Spanish/English language because all the courses will be taught in Spanish with English translation. The School may require a B2 Level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching, assessment - CEFR) in Spanish/English language if they seem it appropriate.
