Bachelor of Business Professional Practice
The Bachelor of Business Professional Practice gives you access to all of the options in the (3-year) Bachelor of Business with the added benefit of a dedicated minor (in Study and Work) and professional experiences with industry partners, research centres, start-up support networks and/or the not-for-profit sector, depending on your choices.
You will start your professional experience with our award-winning virtual internship, which includes direct industry contacts and students solving industry challenges as consultants. You will then have the option to choose a range of professional experiences alongside your major/minor studies as you explore your own experiential learning journey.
The ability to determine which combination of disciplines you will study from our range of majors, minors and cross-College offerings makes this degree uniquely flexible and completely responsive to the ever-changing business landscape. Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- You must have successfully completed a qualification recognised by RMIT as equivalent to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with a minimum average of 75%.
