Master of Financial Technology Extension
Financial technology (FinTech) is growing exponentially and is transforming the future of business. The Master of Financial Technology Extension is aimed at students aspiring to pursue a career within the growing FinTech field covering the impact of technology and its impact on banking and the global payment systems, the insurance industry and trading in financial markets. Throughout the degree you will learn through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to modern technological developments in the financial sector. You will undertake subjects in data programming, information visualisation and machine learning, explore case studies, engage with industry partners and apply your knowledge in a FinTech research project.
The Master of Financial Technology Extension degree allows students to gain a deeper and broader understanding in FinTech with opportunities to undertake additional electives and learn about web development, system analysis and project management.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
