Health Leadership Communication Graduate Certificate

Whether focusing on public relations, advertising, crisis communication or fundraising, effective communication and leadership skills are necessary for navigating the healthcare industry. This program will prepare you to master the strategic communication and leadership skills necessary to serve in healthcare leadership.

You can pursue this certificate only or also apply the courses to a master's degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership.

To earn the master's degree, complete this certificate, the Certificate in Executive Communication, the Certificate in Social Media for PR and Advertising, and a capstone project.

PSW Opportunity

Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.

Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).

STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree: An earned bachelor's degree from a post-secondary institution accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, or a comparable degree from an international institution. The degree must be accompanied by a minimum institutional GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale or a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale for the last 60 hours of coursework in the baccalaureate degree.
