Historic Preservation Graduate Certificate
Pursue a certificate in historic preservation while pursuing your graduate studies. Acquire advanced skills and knowledge that will support you in a wide variety of fields pertaining to U.S. historic preservation and cultural resource management.
The certificate is primarily designed for students who are currently enrolled in or have completed an MA degree in History or Historical Archaeology. However, students in other fields may also pursue this certificate.
UWF offers classes through various delivery methods, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online. Though UWF makes every effort to provide on-campus classes in face-to-face programs, there is a possibility that some classes will have limited availability and may be offered online only. PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's Degree: An earned bachelor's degree from a post-secondary institution accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, or a comparable degree from an international institution. The degree must be accompanied by a minimum institutional GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale or a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale for the last 60 hours of coursework in the baccalaureate degree.
