Master of Nursing Science Program in Adult and Geriatric Nursing

From the policy and development plan of Thailand that aims to enhance the potential of human resources to be healthy, knowledgeable about health, have skills in technology and innovation, and lifelong learning skills, along with the complexity of the current health problems of Thai people, especially chronic illnesses and mental health problems, including problems related to entering a complete aging society. These problems require nurses with high competence to manage and provide appropriate care. Therefore, this curriculum is designed to produce graduates with knowledge and skills, competence in
nursing practice and managing the care of elderly and elderly patients with complex illnesses, ethical problem management skills, digital technology skills by integrating theory and practice, including research and the use of empirical evidence to create new knowledge or create innovations in nursing. It also adds the concept of being an entrepreneur in nursing and health to focus on developing knowledge and skills necessary in the nursing field in depth and in line with the changes in the current world.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

1. Bachelor's degree in nursing from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation or the Civil Service Commission.
2. First-class nursing license or first-class nursing and midwifery license
. 3. At least 1 year of experience as a professional nurse.
4. In good health, free from diseases that would be an obstacle to study and professional practice.
5. Never had any misconduct.
6. English test scores that meet the English proficiency standards for master's degree students at Rangsit University
. 7. Others as determined by the curriculum committee.
8. International students: If the applicant is not a Thai national, the applicant must have completed a bachelor's degree in nursing and be licensed to practice nursing by a professional council or responsible organization in the applicant's country. In the case where there is no licensing system, a certificate of registration in the applicant's country or a certification by the nursing regulatory authority in the applicant's country is required.
