International Relations, MA
The MA in International Relations at UCLan is an interactive and engaging programme aimed at challenging preconceptions and making learning fun and practical. There are numerous modules aimed at helping students make sense of the interconnected world we live in while dealing with some of the most controversial topics of our time. Students can complete an in-depth research-based dissertation or a placement in an appropriate organisation such as a government department, NGO or International Organisation.
Dr. Lawrence, the course leader, is an internationally respected expert in terrorism and security. The optional modules on the course allow students to focus on areas of particular interest, such as international legal policy, East Asian international relations or British foreign policy.

There are a variety of different ways you can access our Preston city campus, whether by rail, road or air. Preston is well served by the M6 motorway both north and south and excellent cross country rail links. There are also two major international airports in Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon.
