Interior Architecture BA(Hons) with integrated foundation year
The University of Brighton is renowned for its creative courses. Our architecture and design-focused foundation year provides the opportunity to experience and learn in a creative and inclusive studio environment, taught by tutors across three design disciplines.
Students on the foundation year work towards our Architecture, Interior Architecture and Product Design degrees. You’ll study together, sharing experiences and exploring skills that will inform a final design project in your chosen subject.
You'll be introduced to the fundamental design principles and transferable skills of architecture and design. You’ll explore the design process through creative projects and technical workshops, and develop core skills in drawing, making, digital practice, presentation and communication, and critical thinking and writing.
This course opens up opportunities for those who wish to gain more confidence, design skills and a portfolio of work before undertaking their preferred design degree. You'll benefit from strong academic support and excellent facilities, and be equipped to get the most out of the honours degree that you choose.

Moulsecoomb campus
Two miles north of Brighton city centre and the seafront, Moulsecoomb is the largest of our four campuses with more than 8,000 students. Moulsecoomb Place is home to more than 160 students, while others live in nearby Varley Park. There are a number of areas of Brighton that are popular with students, just a short walk, cycle or bus ride away. These include Moulsecoomb, Bevendean, Hollingbury, Elm Grove, Hanover and other suburbs that stretch up the hills on either side of the Lewes Road.

- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For India
We require a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Standard XII with an overall average of 60–65% to include a minimum of five subjects at 40% or higher.
Students with relevant diplomas and HNDs may be considered for advanced entry on a case-by-case basis, subject to admissions assessment.
English language requirements
