Nursing Studies (Top-up International) BSc(Hons)
This course enables internationally qualified nurses to top-up their current nursing qualification to degree level and maximise opportunities for career progression. It ultimately facilitates the professional development of international nurses enabling them to return to their home country and improve service provision and patient outcomes.
The course will assist you in developing your critical thinking skills and your understanding of the application of evidence–based practice.
In order to support the development of your practice and implement change within your area of work, your leadership and management skills will be developed.
You will receive excellent support from experienced academics who are also registered professionals with doctoral degree, international experiences and backgrounds.

The university's main campus, Queensgate, is south-east of Huddersfield town centre. Virtually all of the university's teaching takes place on the site. The campus is split in two by the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. It features a mixture of converted mill buildings, and purpose-built facilities

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
You must possess a Nursing Studies Diploma of Higher Education or an equivalent qualification and current nursing registration in your own country which is equivalent to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.5 overall with no element lower than 6.0, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
