Nutrition MS
Great News! The Nutrition Program at UCM has received candidacy accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education In Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) to start a new Master of Science program, the Future Education Model (*FEM/FG).
Our Master of Science program in Nutrition is a continuation of our top-notch undergraduate program and will prepare entry level dietitians or nutritionists to be lifelong learners. By 2024, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics will require registered dietitians to hold at least a master’s degree. The MS program in Nutrition provides you with two options, a Clinical Nutrition option (FEM) and a Sport Nutrition option. Both options address the change in the CDR’s entry-level eligibility requirements for dietitians and expands their practice through knowledge gained from this advanced degree. Completing the FEM Master’s program in Nutrition at UCM will give students eligibility to take the national exam to become registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN).
