Designed and delivered in consultation with industry leaders, our Master's builds the capabilities and specialist expertise to meet society and industry demands to develop infrastructure faster, better and more sustainably. You'll learn to analyse real-world problems and design modern infrastructure, developing valuable skills transferable across industries. You'll also have the opportunity to experience engineering practice first hand and build valuable industry connections with the option of an 800-hour work-integrated learning (WIL) program.

The duration of the internship will vary depending on the chosen course and subject. During this time a student will be expected to complete assessments based on experience. Please note that eligibility criteria do apply.

PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
240 credit point pathway
- Successful completion of a non-accredited 4-year bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
OR - Successful completion of a Sydney Accord-accredited 3-year Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering or related discipline.
OR - Applicants with non-cognate engineering qualifications who also have practical industry experience in civil engineering will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Department of Engineering. AND
Applicants may be required to attend an interview.

120 credit point pathway
- Successful completion of an Australian or a Washington Accord-accredited 4-year Bachelor or Bachelor (Honours) degree in civil engineering.
OR - Applicants with non-cognate Washington accord engineering qualifications who also have practical industry experience in civil engineering or related fields will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Department of Engineering. AND
Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
